BMS for Large UPS
Deco Jones developed for large-scale UPS power supply lithium battery management system products, a total of ± 192V (384V) and ± 240V (480V) two systems, according to user environment have the following categories (according to cost from low to high ):
Stand-alone system (does not support parallel use):
Type A: The UPS charging current and discharge termination can be controlled by the communication protocol.
Type B: no communication protocol or communication protocol but does not support BMS control UPS charge and discharge current.
Parallel system (supports parallel to 32 battery cabinets)
Type C: The UPS charging current and discharge termination can be controlled by the communication protocol. The UPS supports multi-battery cabinet management including communication with multiple battery cabinets, management of online and offline battery cabinets, data aggregation, and hierarchical display of battery parameters.
Type D: no communication protocol with the UPS or communication protocol but does not support multi-battery cabinet management technology. This model requires the installation of Level 3 Battery Management System (GBMS) and parallel module (with touch screen).

The module is 15s48V lithium iron phosphate, a total of eight modules, the total voltage of 384V, divided into positive and negative two 192V each. The maximum charge and discharge currents were 50A / 63A / 100A / 125A / 160A / 250A, can work independently, Can operate independently with UPS management that supports multi-cabinet battery management. Support up to 32 parallel.

The BMS system consists of a 2-level architecture, the module-level management system for the BMU, responsible for collecting single cell voltage, module temperature, distributed cooling, battery balancing, and higher-level management system communication and other functions.
CBMS management system is responsible for positive and negative battery current detection, data acquisition and analysis, alarm and protection control, communication with the upper and lower levels, etc.,
